A stunning morning in The Lake District

I like it best when the sea and the sky and the earth all feel part of the same entity: shaped from the same clay so to speak

The lone and level sands stretch far away

But getting out to photograph it on a February morning isn't easy

I also wanted a "sky map" of the stars and constellations. One that wasn't dark as they always seem to be. This picture is the result. It's a mixed media piece, starting life as a watercolour for texture and tone, then being worked on more on the computer.
